GrainCo (Private) Limited is an Agro business based in Harare, Zimbabwe, that focuses on the sourcing, distribution and selling of Agro related commodities. The company was incorporated on 19 August 2019. Our headquarters located in Zimbabwe’s capital Harare, is geographically well positioned to manage trading and procurement into Zimbabwe, from the region. The business has strong ties to the commercial growers within Zimbabwe and offers market and currency risk solutions to the country’s premier farmers. We also pride ourselves on the management of ten local rural procurement depots in all agricultural regions of Zimbabwe where our experienced depot managers assist small to medium scale farmers with a ready and fair market for their produce. A spill off of the above is the provision of employment for the local youth in those rural areas as part of our warehousing staff. We have recently opened offices in Lusaka, Zambia, trading under the name Orange Leaf Trading (OLT). The focus of OLT is to complement Grainco’s regional expansion vision as well develop local and rural procurement options within Zambia. Currently the business imports commodities from global and regional suppliers to meet Zimbabwe’s growing demand, with the aim of building strong partnerships with key suppliers on a mutually beneficial basis.
